Ubuntu? Ubuntu is een term uit de Zuid-Afrikaanse Bantu-taal en verwijst naar het individu in zijn of haar omgeving. De mooiste en simpelste uitleg is: ‘ik ben, omdat wij zijn’. De mens wordt pas mens in zijn of haar sociale context. Bill Clinton: “If we were the most beautiful, the most intelligent, the most wealthy, the most powerful person – and then found that we were alone on the planet, it wouldn’t amount to a hill of beans.”
